We collect only the information you provide during the hotel search quiz: destination, travel dates, number and ages of travelers, preferences, and any free-text notes you choose to enter. We do not require you to create an account or provide an email address.
We use Plausible Analytics — a privacy-first analytics tool that does not use cookies and does not collect personal data or track individuals across devices.
Quiz data is sent to our server solely to generate hotel recommendations. We do not store your quiz answers after the session ends. We do not sell, share, or rent your data to third parties for marketing purposes.
When you click a "Book on [platform]" button, you are redirected to that platform via an affiliate link. We may earn a commission if you complete a booking. This does not affect the price you pay. We have affiliate relationships with Booking.com, Expedia, Agoda, Hotels.com, TripAdvisor, and Kayak.
Our AI matching is powered by Anthropic's Claude API. Quiz data is transmitted to Anthropic's servers for processing and is subject to Anthropic's privacy policy. Hotel data is sourced from Booking.com and Expedia partner APIs.
Magistay does not use tracking cookies. Our analytics provider (Plausible) is cookieless by design. See our Cookie Policy for details.

We do not guarantee that the prices shown are the lowest available or that rooms are available at time of booking. Always confirm details on the booking platform before completing a reservation.
